LIFE
Spending my life,
With a thought,
Which is more painful,
The night that
prevails the darkness
and hides evrything,
or th night that
brings peace...
The sun that
increases the thirst
and makes survival tough,
or the sun that
brings brightness....
The air that
turns evrything in dust,
or that air that
gives life and teaches to adjust....
The child who
runs for the survival,
or the child who
makes the life fun...
The heart that
comes closer and
shows all love,
Or the heart that
comes closer and
brings tears in love....
The whole life
I thought,
But cannot find,
Why do we call,
It LIFE

There are always two sides not only of a coin. Nicely have you mentioned some of names that cause pleasure as well as sorrow, totally depending on the spell of time we are in. The comparison glorifies the parallels, very good.
But what do you mean to impart through these lines -
The whole life
I thought,
But cannot (could not) find,
Why do we call,
It LIFE.. .
Do you have any specific reason behind keeping the word 'life' in caps in this sentence ?

Yups Saurabhji everyone tries to get some meaning from it still gets nothing at the end...Here i have tried to give life to LIFE means made it personified so that i can find a way to catch it...thnx....

and "cant' has been used here as my thoughts were progressing in past n i tried hard but having diligent effort is not sufficient. i m still in search of it and vl alwz be....So we can call LIFE a sweet cheater... :)
