Oum.. Oum.. Oum
Hear, hear, the cosmic chant I hear, Oum... Oum.. Oum,
Oum in the mountains, in the forest, Oum in the ocean,
In the birds, and in the bees, and in the beautiful breeze,
In the beautiful you, too, Oum.. Oum.. Oum.. is all I hear.
Shh... speak not a sound, for there, there never is sound,
It is only Oum, just Oum, and I dare not ever call it sound,
and no, I can not call it music either, for music has notes,
and music has tones, their reach at best, limited by zones.
Then what shall I say of the One that is limitless, for I am,
and I say with humility, speechless as speechless can be,
I know, I am for ever speechless in His presence divine,
and the decline I suffer in His absence, no, I cannot define.
Hear, hear, the cosmic chant, this 'IS' Oum.. Oum.. Oum..
Keep listening, keep listening to it, and you will then know,
Yes, captured by its eternal redeeming healing Romance,
Not Oum will become your own, you will become The Oum.
