Support (short story)
Maa : Take me to doctor today . I am unable to walk because of the back ache .
Son : Oh maa , every day you complain about something or the other . Please think of us too . We have our own lives too .
Maa : Oh dear ! Yes sorry son , I shall not disturb you any more .
She went away in her room silently weeping. Her son and daughter-in-law couldn't see her tears . Her grand children were looking at her. They loved their granny . Both went into their room .Their parents couldn't understand their immediate reaction . They stared at each other . After a while they brought a wooden cart though it was dirty , they brought it and running they went to their granny .
Kids : Granny , please take this , we can't see you in pain . Atleast this will be a support for you.
Granny : Oh my love , so sweet of you thanks alot , you atleast thought of me , you saw my pain .
She kissed their foreheads and blessed them .
Kids among themselves said to each other
Hey we shall take care of this cart . Try not to break it .
Sister went to their parents and asked father ," Dad do bring one more cart for us."
Astonishingly he said , " For what ?"
You two will need it na in future .
Parents were speechless
