VARANASI: Spreading wings for a little flight and surfing on the waves of the Ganga, a number of black-spotted gulls (migratory birds) remained the star attraction of ghats in the city on Thursday as a number of cameras flashed to get the best possible pictures of the winged visitors.
The winter season in the millennia-old city has already become synonymous with the arrival of migratory birds coming from cold regions of the world to spend winters in the holy city after undertaking a flight of more than 10,000-km.
