May I see That Divine
May I see The Sublime
In you first
Before I even sense
A sign that I am tense
For I took some offense.
May I hear The Divine
Know that you are fine
It is not for me to opine
No matter how harsh
No matter how unkind
Some words I find.
For, what shall a man gain
Seeing the "other" in another
Or, after countless births
Seeing an enemy in brother
Sorting the little me and mine
In that old darkening mirror.

Very nice expression!
Tone of the verse is natural and spontaneous,so poem is very attractive.
I think feeling of शिवोऽहं and आनन्दोऽहं is the peak of sprituality,reahing to this point worldly pleasures become zero, but...most difficult to feel it.
Thank You sir for presenting such high thoughts through this verse.

Yes, the feeling of शिवोऽहं and आनन्दोऽहं is the peak of spirituality,
and this peak is difficult to reach, and yet this goal can be enticing
and alluring for some of us, constantly pulling us. The beauty of it
is that every effort towards it gives happiness and a unique feeling
of peace.
The journey begins with utter humility and continues with humility,
for humility helps in guarding us against our ego which is a major
impediment in our progress.
